Charges filed against 8 people in Tioga County

MANSFIELD — Eight people have been charged with various criminal offenses in Tioga County, according to court records.

Those charged and the police agencies involved include:

• Tanarah Duncan Washington, 20, of Philadelphia; Mansfield police; possession of small amount of marijuana, possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia; after allegedly having smoked marijuana and had a pack of cigars to use as wrappers on 150 N. Main St. on Oct. 9. She was jailed on $1,000 bail and her preliminary hearing was waived.

• Anthony J. Sautner, 54, of 619 Blake Road; Blossburg police; DUI, careless driving, stop signs and yield signs; after allegedly driving through grass on Water Street on Sept. 24. He was sent a court summons and is to appear before Judge Carlson on Jan. 8 for a preliminary hearing.

• Ryan Lee Pequignot, 31, of Old Bloss Road; state police; possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia; after a smoking pipe was found in his coat at 1169 S. Main St. on Sept. 10. He was sent a court summons and appeared before Judge Carlson on Dec. 4 for his preliminary hearing.

• Austen Tyler Lake, 23, Benauer Road; state police; DUI, maximum speed limits, careless driving, approaching oncoming vehicles; after allegedly having a BAC of 0.148 on South Main Street on Aug. 31. He was sent a court summons and appeared before Judge Carlson on Dec. 4 for his preliminary hearing.

• Chyanne R. Jayne, 29, of 124 Briar Road; state police; theft by unlawful taking; after allegedly using another person’s debit card, charging $38.23 on Aug. 29. She was sent a court summons and appeared before Judge Carlson on Dec. 4 for her preliminary hearing.

• Ciara Ann Cupelli, 22, of 7 Skyline Drive; Mansfield University police; DUI, stop signs and yield signs, turning movements and required signals; after allegedly having a BAC of 0.149 on Wilson Avenue on Aug. 25. She was sent a court summons and appeared before Judge Carlson Dec. 18.

• Tyrina Shantel Coward, 34, of Ore Bed Road; Mansfield police; retail theft; after allegedly stealing root stimulator oil in the amount of $10.29 from 197 N. Main St. on July 31. She was jailed on $1,000 bail and her preliminary hearing was waived.

• Rachel Shiann Traylor, 24, of West Virginia; state police; DUI, driving on roadways lined for traffic, careless driving; after allegedly swerving on Route 6 with a BAC of 0.157 on July 14. She was sent a court summons and is to appear before Judge Carlson Jan. 15.
