State police respond to several local incidents
A 26-year-old Philadelphia woman fled from police while driving on Interstate 180 in Loyalsock Township and was caught with illegal drugs in her car, state police alleged.
As Trooper Garrett Shnyder was trying to make a traffic stop on the interstate eastbound lane at 9 p.m. May 27, Shaniece Wilson fled, according to police.
She was eventually apprehended and charged with felony fleeing and eluding, multiple drug charges, driving under the influence of intoxicants and other charges, according to court documents.
In a separate incident also handled by state police, two 15-year-old girls allegedly got into a fight on Randall Circle in Loyalsock Township about 7 p.m. Thursday, state police said.
One of the girls allegedly punched the other with a closed fist many times, and harassment charges are alleged and pending in district magistrate court, police said.
State police also are handling a Muncy man who faces charges of allegedly taking a car that he was not authorized to, state police said.
Joshua Feigles, 36, of Muncy, allegedly took a 71-year-old woman’s 2016 Ford Fusion between June 7 and June 14, police said.
On June 14, police responded to a call of Feigles borrowing the car and failing to return it to its owner after being notified to return the vehicle, police said.
Through further investigation, Feigles was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in district court.
