Woman enters guilty plea to 1 charge while police withdraw other charges

JERSEY SHORE — In a plea agreement before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley, Jacqueline Brookens, 46, of 712 Allegheny St., pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia at her apartment on separate occasions, according to court records. Each count is from separate drug cases.

One case stems from an incident on June 2 when Tiadaghton Valley Regional police also charged Brookens with possession of cocaine, possession of hydrocodine pills without a prescription and illegal use of a cellphone. All those charges were dropped as part of plea agreement.

The other incident occurred in late April. In this case, police dropped one count of possession of marijuana. Brookens made arrangements to pay $938 in fines and court costs.
