Ralston man allegedly found drunk, entrapped in car crash
Robert Hamilton, 49, of 84 Railroad St., Ralston, allegedly had a BAC of 0.178 percent when police found him trapped inside his 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, which was crashed into a pole
Hamilton allegedly told Old Lycoming Township Police he saw a deer run out in front of him as he was following a friend home on Pleasant Valley Road, Cogan Station, according to Richard Cochran, an Old Lycoming Township police officer.
However, Hamilton also allegedly said he had four crown and cokes at a bar in Trout Run, and that “didn’t help either,” Cochran said.
Hamilton was sent a green card summons to court for charges of driving under the influence. District Judge William Solomon held a preliminary hearing Jan. 6, and Hamilton will next appear in court before President Judge Nancy Butts Jan. 25.
