Police investigating report of shots fired

Nobody was harmed in relation to two separate reports of shots fired in the city Saturday night, city police confirmed.

Police responded to a report of shots fired emerging from the 1600 block of Catherine Street at 11:26 p.m., according to Zach Schon, a city police sergeant.

The incident is still under active investigation, although city police confirmed nobody was injured. City police marked the incident as completed at 12:47 a.m., according to Schon.

City police also responded to a report of shots fired on the 300 block of Mulberry Street earlier in the evening, Schon said.

However, police determined no shots had been fired and the reporting caller, who called 911 at around 9:18 p.m., had not heard a firearm.
