Suspect in I-80 homicide to be arraigned in Union County
A man suspected to have killed a woman on I-80 will be brought before a Union County district judge for arraignment this Tuesday.
Tracy Rollins, 28, of Texas, allegedly shot actress Rebecca Landrith several times in the face, chest and hands before leaving the body along the interstate, according to state police.
Rollins will be flown from Connecticut to the Lycoming County Airport on Tuesday, and will later be transported to Union County to be arraigned before District Judge Jeffrey Mensch in Mifflinburg at around noon.
Landrith’s body was found Feb. 7 along Interstate 80, and police determined she had ties to several states including South Dakota and Utah.
Landrith was a professional model and investigators believe she had traveled through the midwest the week prior.
Meanwhile, Rollins faces charges of criminal homicide and abuse of a corpse. He was taken into custody in Milldale, Connecticut by state police from Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
