Pennsylvania State Police investigate 2 injuries in Moreland Township ATV incident

MORELAND TOWNSHIP — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an incident involving a four-wheeler in Moreland Township that saw two adults transported for emergency care Saturday night.

An ambulance transported a man, while Life Flight touched down to transport a woman. Both were taken to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, according to Logan Laidecker, a captain of the Muncy Area Volunteer Fire Department.

State police are investigating the incident, which otherwise resulted in no damage to the surrounding area, according to Laidecker. The cause of the incident is unknown.

Fire personnel were dispatched at 9:55 p.m. and arrived on-scene at around 10 p.m., according to the Lycoming County 911 Center. They remained on-scene until 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Lairdsville Fire and Ambulance, Hughesville Ambulance, Muncy Township Ambulance and two paramedic units from Susquehanna Regional EMS also responded to the scene.
