Seven charged with drug offenses in six separate cases
Antwan Hairston, 30, of and Beatriz Robles, 32, both of Philadelphia face a felony charge of delivery of a controlled substance after the two sold 2.51 grams of crack cocaine to a Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) Informant on East Third Street in Loyalsock Township last March 4, according to court records.
A short time later, when authorities executed a search warrant at a motel room where the two were staying, it was learned that Robles had ripped up half the money used to buy the drugs and tossed the bills into a toilet, court records stated. Robles has been charged with tampering with evidence. Following their arraignments before District Gary Whiteman, Hairston was initially jailed, but has since been released on $40,000 bail while Robles is free on $25,000 bail.
In another case, Kayla Schenck, a 24-year-old homeless woman who battles with drug addiction, remains behind bars on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly hiding 5.5 grams of methamphetamines under a chair cushion at a Loyalsock Township motel on Sept. 9, state police alleged in court papers. She was incarcerated in lieu of $10,000 following her arraignment before Solomon.
In another case, Kevin Webster’s “was extremely nervous and sweating profusely” after a city police officer stopped his Mazda 6 because his taillights were not on at West Third and Hepburn streets about 7:45 p.m. on March 7, 2020, according to court records.
Initially Webster, 43, of 326 Bridge St., allegedly gave a false name, but eventually gave his true identity. He was taken into custody on a probation violation and while he was being searched, he was found to have four bags of heroin and a bag of crack cocaine.
He waived his preliminary hearing last week before Biichle on two counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is free on bail.
In another case, Lillian Grace Duffy, 18, of Watsontown, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having one gram of marijuana on Interstate 180 in Muncy about 12:30 a.m. on July 19, state police said. She has been sent a summons to appear before Kemp.
In another case, Kevin Lattie, 50, of 638 Market St., has been charged by NEU with two counts of delivery of controlled substance for allegedly twice selling crack cocaine to an informant, first of May 10 and again on May 18, according to court records. The alleged sales occurred at or near Lattie’s home. Following his arraignment before Biichle, he was jailed in lieu of $95,000 bail.
In another NEU case, Kyle Wagner, 23, of Lock Haven, has been charged with one count of deliver of a controlled substance for allegedly selling four suboxone pills to an informant near Bridge and Hepburn streets in the city on Feb. 24, court records stated. He is free on bail.
