Chester man allegedly steals chainsaw

City police accuse Malcolm Duncan, 65, of 1024 Kerlin St., Chester, Pennsylvania, of stealing a $350 chainsaw from the Peter Herdic Hi-Rise maintenance shed earlier this summer.

Duncan was filmed on camera entering the shed and removing the chainsaw around 11 a.m. of June 18, according to city police Corporal Jordan Stoltzfus.

Stoltzfus said police positively identified him based on previous contact they had with him, and that the chainsaw was not recovered.

Biichle arraigned Duncan for theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Duncan waived his preliminary hearing.
