Five people recently pled guilty to various charges in separate cases, according to court records handled by district judges. In other court matters, a judge dismissed all charges in one case and city police dropped charges in another. Those involved, the disposition of their cases and the penalty imposed were:
Jarrett Dunkle, 21, of Millville, pled to a state police charge of putting down false information on a government form when he attempted to purchase a firearm at R.J. Welch LLC, 1452 John Brady Drive, Muncy, back in mid-August. Dunkle made arrangements to pay $1,487 in fines and court costs.
Alora Valceda, 21, of 91 Heatherbrooke Estates, Muncy, pled to a state police charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana following an incident at her home on Nov. 18 and made arrangements to pay $620 in fines and court costs.
Philippe Koukoui, 24, of 500 Lycoming St., pled to a Montoursville police charge of possession of marijuana following an incident in the 1600 block of Mill Street on Sept. 6. He was jailed in late November for two weeks for the offense and given credit for time served.
Jeffrey Dunham, 52, 861 E. Penn St., Muncy, pled guilty to a state police charge of possession of methamphetamine following an incident outside his home on Oct. 22. He made arrangements to pay $945 in fines and court costs.
Kadeem Middleton, 31, of 2106 W. Fourth St., pled to a state police charge of possession of marijuana following an incident on Interstate 180 in Muncy Creek Township on Nov. 27. He made arrangements to pay $645 in fines and court costs.
Due to insufficient evidence, a district judge dismissed city police charges of theft and receiving stolen property that were filed against Justin Osman, 35, of 53 W. Edwin St., which stemmed from him allegedly selling a female acquaintance’s car without her permission back in early March.
In another city police case, charges of simple assault and harassment against Troy Werkheiser, a 45-year-old homeless man, were withdrawn earlier this month. The charges stemmed from a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Louis Street back on Dec. 14.
