Numerous shots were fired in the 600 block of Second Avenue about 4 a.m. Monday, but no one was injured, Williamsport police said.

Several people were seen standing in the area moments before the gunfire erupted, police were told. An undisclosed number of the bullets struck a nearby home, police said in a press release.
