Meet the Candidates reception to be held in Lewisburg

There is an opportunity to meet the candidates for the 12th Congressional District at a forum from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. April 12, at the Country Cupboard Restaurant at 101 Hafer Road in Lewisburg. State Rep. Fred Keller, R-Mifflinburg, and Marc Friedenberg, Democratic nominee and instructor of cybersecurity and cyberlaw at Penn State University, will discuss their reasons for running for office in the upcoming special election on May 21. The seat is currently vacant due to former congressman Tom Marino’s resignation in January. Through a moderated dialog Keller and Friedenberg will share their ideas for enhancing the future of the West Branch.
