Comms fill new law clerk position
The Lycoming County commissioners approved of hires to fill open positions and contracts in their short-list agenda, Thursday.
Robert Brown was hired as a part-time replacement central processing officer at $15.64-per-hour, and Kenneth Schriner as another part-time replacement central processing officer at the same rate.
A new law clerk position was created in the district attorney’s office and filled by Devin Walker at $38,548.49 annually. This is to replace three resignations. The new position will be eliminated pending Walker passing the Pennsylvania Bar Exam, the commissioners said.
The commissioners also approved a professional service agreement with Select Security. The service manages the Lycoming County Courthouse security locks on doors.
Roxanne Grieco, deputy director of human resources, and Matthew McDermott, director of administration, presented the monthly human resources report and contracts below $10,000, respectively. The commissioners approved both.
Commissioners Rick Mirabito and Tony Mussare were present. Commissioner Jack McKernan was not present.
The next meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday in the briefing room in Executive Plaza, 330 Pine St.
