County set to hire planning director for $95K salary
Lycoming County Commissioners are expected to approve the hiring of Shannon L. Rossman as director of planning and community development with a proposed salary of $95,500 at their meeting Thursday.
Rossman’s previous experience includes serving as executive director of the Berks County Planning Commission.
She replaces Kurt Hausammann who announced his retirement earlier this year.
Also on the agenda are professional service agreements with Insinger Excavating for flood mitigation projects and with Oasis Management Services for commissary services at the county prison and Pre-Release Center.
Commissioners are expected to approve an agreement for $153,112 between the county and the United Way for the homeless assistance program.
Other action on the agenda is to include approval of:
• A professional service agreement for a $242,417 juvenile services grant.
• A contract with Field Tec Services for maintenance.
• A professional service renewal agreement with L&L Boiler for boiler inspection and repair work.
• Purchase agreement of $19,874 with Highway Equipment Supply Co. for repair of a 2008 Volvo A-40E Articulating Haul Truck.
