The group Public ARTWORKS this week dedicated the project “Undercurrent” by Fred Gilmour that was installed in the new terminal building at the Williamsport Regional Airport.

Gilmour’s piece was custom fabricated from polishing aluminum tubing, precision-cut clear and blue plexiglass mirror and hand-manipulated aluminum sheet. “It is evocative of the crystal waters of our local mountain tributaries as they fill the grand and glistening nearby Susquehanna River,” he said. On hand for the event were, from left in top photo, Public ARTWORKS chairs Karen Miller, Laura Flynn and Lenore Penfield. Mark Murawski comments from the podium.
