Financial reports for Council candidates released

The City Council campaign finance reports are in for the seven individuals seeking four open council seats in the Nov. 5 general election.

The candidates include Republicans Adam Yoder, Vincent Pulizzi, Bill Hall and incumbent Councilwoman Bonnie Katz. The Democrats are Tiasha Machuga, Dave Banks and Jon Mackey.

Machuga had $1,339 in contributions; $519 in expenses and $1,039 in ending cash balance.

Contributors to her campaign included: the Committee to Elect Liz Miele, $250; Mary Sieminski, Montoursville, $60; Sally Butterfield, city, $100; Tselentis family, city, $200; the Committee to Elect Linda Sosniak, $102; Linda Sosniak, $329, Plankenhorn family, $265; Inside Newberry, $95 and Big Daddy Signs, $159.

Under People to Elect Bill Hall, there were $2,266 in contributions brought forward from a prior campaign, with no balance and expenses.

For the Committee to Elect Dave Banks, there were $2,370 contributions, $1,202 in expenses and an ending balance of $2,118.
