Sherrylee Pfirman, 75, of South Williamsport, passed away Nov. 6, 2019.
She was born June 17, 1944, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late, Ray and Nellie (Wright) Ohnmeiss.
Sherrylee retired as a registered nurse from the Susquehanna Health System. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Harrisburg Hospital Nursing Alumni Association. In her retirement years, she did volunteer work for the church, American Cancer Society, and other organizations.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Pfirman; siblings, Terry, Steven and Sandra Ohnmeiss; son-in-law, Brian Walker; granddaughter, Abigail Hill; a great-grandson, Miles Pfirman; and sister-in-law, Joan Loughry.
Surviving are children, Michael (Kathleen) Pfirman, Stephen (Kim) Pfirman, Jeffrey Pfirman, Petrea (David) Yoder, Andrea (James) Hill, Alicea (James) Gable, and Mara (William) Hause; 13 grandchildren, Nicholas, Katie, Kristopher, Kinsie, Tierney, Josie, Jacob, Joseph, Sarah, Olivia, Luke, Logan and Thomas; three great-grandchildren, Westley, Asher and Noah, several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Penny Ohnmeiss.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 100 Walnut St., Montoursville, with Rev. Michael S. McCormick as celebrant. Family and friends will be received from 10:30 to 11 a.m., in the church. Burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran “Red Brick” Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
