Festival lights

MARK NANCE/Sun-Gazette Megan Lazorka holds up Saydee Hill, 5, of Williamsport so she can touch an ice fish during the Festival of Lights at Brandon Park. The fish was part of several ice sculptures by Bob Salaki of First Ice. According to Thad Meckley, chairman of the Brandon Park Commission, the annual Brandon Park tree lighting event was combined with the crafts sale that was at the Transportation Museum last year and First Friday. The event included food trucks, ice sculptures, crafts live entertainment by the Melissa Augustine Dance and Fitness Academy, trolly rides from First Friday events downtown, and free wagon rides by Fritz Farm Carriage Service. As Meckly put it, "Its a holiday party in the park."
