JERSEY SHORE — State police and the Lycoming County Coroner’s Office were conducting a death investigation late Monday afternoon that reportedly involved a person who was trapped under a lawn mower on Torbet Lane, off of Route 44, in Watson Township.

Heavy rescue equipment from the borough’s two fire company’s were dispatched to the scene about 5:15 p.m. Within a matter of minutes, an emergency responder on the scene called for the state police and the coroner.

The deceased victim was reported extricated from under the mower about 7:15 p.m. The Sun-Gazette will have more information when it becomes available.
