Retaining wall project to start in Morris Township

A Route 414 retaining wall project in Morris Township, Tioga County is set to begin on Friday, May 29. This project will be located at the intersection of Wilson Hill Road and will continue north for 0.58 miles towards Morris according to a PennDOT release.

Utility relocation will begin and is expected to be completed by July 2. All work is being done in preparation for the construction of six retaining walls; that construction will begin the spring of 2021.

During the utility relocation there will be a detour in place using Wilson Hill Road, Oregon Hill Road, English Run Road and Route 287 in Tioga and Lycoming counties.

PennDOT warns motorists to be alert and drive with caution.
