Woodward Township to follow county’s lead on extending tax deadline

LINDEN — Woodward Township Supervisors unanimously approved a resolution to extend the face value real estate tax payment period in conjunction with the Lycoming County Commissioners from June 31 to Aug. 31.

This is pending a decision to be made on Tuesday.

No reports by the planning commission, solicitor or road superintendent were given.

Supervisors Jack Coleman, chairman, Jim Campbell and Wayne Robinson were present.

The next Woodward Township meeting will be held at 11 a.m. June 15 in the township building on Route 220.
