Airport Authority approves Impact for marketing campaign

The Williamsport Municipal Airport Authority Thursday approved an agreement with Impact Advertising for marketing services.

Much of the agreement covers the airport’s marketing of its Charlotte flights set to begin in August, according to airport executive director Richard Howell.

The plan calls for Impact to utilize billboards, radio spots, digital advertising and other means of promoting the flights as well as other aspects of the airport’s operations.

Impact was among three firms submitting proposals for the marking plan.

In other matters, the Authority approved the engineering firm of L.R. Kimball, Ebensburg for design and rehabilitation work of the airport tower at a cost of $14,500.

Howell reported to the board that the airport’s new restaurant has opened.

The Authority met in executive session to discuss legal matters.
