Humidity to increase throughout the week
Although there is a 40 percent chance of showers this morning, the first part of the week will be really nice with sunny skies, low humidity and very comfortable overnight temperatures, according to Rob Radzanowski, a forecaster with the National Weather Service in State College, said.
“The next few days won’t be as bad as it has been,” Radzanowski said, referring to the steamy, hot weather that had blanketed the region earlier this month.
It will be mostly sunny Tuesday and Wednesday with high temperatures ranging from the lower to upper 80s and overnight lows around 60 today and Tuesday, he said.
“The humidity won’t be too bad, but it will get progressively more humid as the week goes on,” Radzanowski added.
Rain is also expected to return later in the week.
Temperatures will certainly start to warm up in the second half of the week, with Saturday expected to reach 90, he said.
“There is a 50 percent chance of afternoon showers each day; Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s Thursday and Friday,” Radzanowski said.
