Lycoming County commissioners approve COVID-19 funds to nonprofit groups

Lycoming County commissioners approved the release of another round of funding from its $10.2 million in COVID-19 relief dollars at their meeting Thursday.

The recipients are 41 non-profit organizations sharing in a total of $1.2 million in Relief Block Grant allocations.

Organizations and amounts are:

• AIDS Resource Alliance, Inc., $20,000

• American Legion Post 36, $10,725.

• American Legion Post 268 Home Association, $3,350

• American Rescue Workers, $100,000

• Camp Susque, $10,000

• Central Pennsylvania Workforce Development Corp., $10,000

• Community Theatre League, Inc., $30,000

• Covation Center, Inc., $20,000

• Crystal Lake Camps, $20,000

• Expectations Women’s Center, $51,000

• Family Promise of Lycoming County, Inc., $30,000

• Firetree Place, $8,200

• Habitat for Humanity, $10,000

• Historic Neighborhood Trust, Inc., $2,200

• Hughesville Public Library, $2,500

• James V. Brown Library, $100,000

• Jersey Shore Public Library, $1,200
