State: 43 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lycoming County
Lycoming County has 43 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Friday, according to data from the state Department of Health.
Tioga County has 23 new confirmed cases while Clinton County has 21 new confirmed cases.
The state reports Friday that Lycoming County has 1,468 confirmed cases of COVID-19 total. Tioga and Clinton counties have 604 and 424 confirmed cases total, respectively.
As of noon Friday, Lycoming County has 21 COVID-19 patients hospitalized and 3 patients on ventilators. Clinton County has 4 COVID-19 patients hospitalized. Neither Clinton nor Tioga counties have any COVID-19 patients on ventilators and Tioga County doesn’t have any patients hospitalized.
Lycoming County has had 35 fatalities from COVID-19 total as of Friday – an increase of 2 from Wednesday. The state Department of Health reports 10 deaths from COVID-19 for Clinton County, an increase of 1 from Wednesday. Tioga County has 7 deaths from COVID-19 total – the same figure the state reported on Wednesday.
Union County has 1,121 confirmed cases total. Sullivan County has 34 confirmed cases. Bradford and Potter counties have 1,434 and 117 confirmed cases total, respectively. Centre County has 5,221 confirmed cases total as of Friday, an increase of 233 cases since Tuesday.
