State: More COVID-19 deaths in Lycoming, Clinton and Tioga counties

Lycoming, Tioga and Clinton counties all saw increases in COVID-19 fatalities Tuesday, the state Department of Health reported.

Lycoming County has 98 fatalities as of Tuesday, an increase of four from Monday’s data reported by the state. Tioga County saw an increase of two, with 47 fatalities reported as of Tuesday compared to 45 total on Monday. Clinton County has 20 deaths from COVID-19. On Monday the state reported 18 deaths in Clinton County.

Lycoming County has 82 patients hospitalized for COVID-19, while Clinton County has 13 and Tioga County has 12.

On Tuesday the state reported 4,590 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 469 probable COVID-19 cases for Lycoming County, increases of 66 confirmed cases and 19 probable cases. Tioga County has 1,668 confirmed cases and 124 probable cases, increases of 19 confirmed COVID-19 cases and one probable case. Clinton County has 1,528 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 146 probable cases, increases of 15 and 8 respectively.
