Millbrook Playhouse performance canceled by COVID-19 case
MILL HALL — A positive COVID-19 test has put the brakes on Millbrook Playhouse’s next performance.
“Grand Legends” was set to debut tonight and run until Saturday, Aug. 7.
“Unfortunately, despite diligent safety procedures, including full company vaccination, one of our company members has tested positive for the coronavirus,” a release from Millbrook said.
The release stated it hopes to reschedule the performance sometime in the future.
However, Millbrook will still be showcasing two performances of “Snow White” on Saturday, July 31 and Aug. 7.
“We will be moving forward with out production of Snow Whit, which opens Saturday, July 31, on our open-air courtyard staff, as well as our youth camps beginning Monday, Aug. 2,” the release said.
According to the release, going into the fall season staff will do everything they can to ensure the safety of theater attendees.
“Please know that the well-being of our company and patrons is paramount to us, and going forward with the fall season, we will continue to take all precautions to ensure the health and safety of our staff, which includes vaccinations and regular COVID testing,” it reads.
Millbrook’s Box Office will be contacting ticket holders to answer questions regarding refunds or exchanges.
