The Thomas T. Taber Museum recently hosted its annual trick-or-treat event, inviting area children and their families to collect candy and learn some local history in the process. Among the visitors were Amara Hunter and her daughters Callie, 7, and Lucy, 5, all of Williamsport, as well as Hayden Dibble, 7, and her mom Alexis, also of Williamsport. Museum guides, including Executive Director Gary Parks, described life in the area years ago.
