Kenneth Eugene Foucart

Kenneth Eugene Foucart, 75 of Williamsport, died Friday, March 29, 2019, at the Regional Medical Center of Scranton. He had been receiving care at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center at Scranton. Born Dec. 5, 1943, at Williamsport, he was the son of the late Boyd and Helen Ranck Foucart.

Ken was a graduate of the Williamsport High School, Class of 1962. He was also a graduate of the former Williamsport School of Commerce. Ken had been a member of Saint Luke Lutheran Church at Williamsport. Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Ken had been the manager of the former J. E. Foucart Saw Works of Williamsport. He had also been employed by the A.D. Hermance Machine Company, of Williamsport and Shearer Industrial Supply Company. Ken had retired from the Office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at Boston.

Ken had been a life member and Past Commander of the Garrett Cochran Post 1 of the American Legion at Williamsport, a life member of LeRoy O. Buck Post 7863, Veterans of Foreign Wars at Duboistown, a member of Lycoming Voiture 382, 40 et 8, Williamsport and had been a Chef de Gar there, a member of the Veterans of the Vietnam War of Lycoming County, PA. He was a member of Ivy Lodge 397 F&AM, Masonic Lodge Williamsport and a member of the AASR, Valley of Williamsport Consistory. He was also a member of the United Commercial Travelers, for 50 years at Williamsport.

Surviving are his wife, the former Nancy Foulkrod Foucart, of Williamsport. Together they have shared 55 years of marriage. Also surviving are his daughter, Cindy (Brendan) Ryan, of Lock Haven; his son, James Foucart, of Williamsport; his brother, Robert (Marilyn) Foucart, of Liverpool, N.Y.; one granddaughter, Samantha Buchan; one grandson, Jonathan Heim; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his late parents, he was also preceded in death by his two brothers, John Foucart and Richard Foucart.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 5, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Dr. Kerry Aucker, pastor of Saint John Lutheran Church, Jersey Shore, officiating at the Chapel of Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport. Interment will be private at Wildwood Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation. The family will provide the flowers and declines to receive floral tributes. Veterans graveside services will be accorded at the Chapel of Wildwood Cemetery by members of the Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County.
