Kenneth P. ‘Cap’ Feerrar

Kenneth P. “Cap” Feerrar, 77, of Loganton, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019, at his home.

Born Dec. 9, 1941, in Washington, D.C., he was a son to the late Ralph Feerrar and the former Vivian Fleisher.

Ken was a member of the Avis United Methodist Church. He had worked at Avis Homes and retired from Williamsport Wire Rope after many years of service. Ken loved gardening and planting flowers, fishing and spending time with his dogs.

Surviving are his loving wife, the former Jeanne M. Fahlfeder; children, Julie Feerrar, of St. Petersburg, Fla., Todd (Sienna) Feerrar, of La Jolla, Calif., and Craig Feerrar, of Avis; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers, Wayne (Barb) Feerrar, of Avis; and Dennis Feerrar, of Downingtown, Pa.; a sister, Wendy Stroud, of Millheim, Pa.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Avis United Methodist Church, 215 Prospect Ave., Avis. A time of visitation will be held 3 p.m. Saturday until the time of service at the church.
