Jerry Lee Kyle
Jerry Lee Kyle, 74, of Williamsport, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at his home. Surviving is his loving wife of 47 years Grace Marie (Holzworth) Kyle.
Born April 29, 1945, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Raymond E. and Esther V. (Lowmiller) Kyle.
He was a 1963 graduate of Williamsport High School and attended WACC, earning a certificate in electrical construction. Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by PP&L as an underground repairman for 37 years, until his retirement.
Jerry was an active life member of Heshbon Park United Methodist Church, who served the church in many capacities.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a sister, Donna Ward (Robert), of Perry, Ga.; his nieces and nephews, Tracey Knauss (Randy), Vickie Dgien (Tony), Kevin Young (Nikki), Sherri Ward, Keith Ward, and Kathi Stewart (Joel); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adriana and Serena Knauss, Nicole, Jacob, Rebecca, Hannah, and Sarah Dgien, Brett Young, Ellie, Luke, and Ava Stewart; and a brother-in-law, Jonathan Holzworth (Tammy).
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Jack Young.
A funeral service to honor the life of Jerry will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 15, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Sanders. Burial with military honors will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
