Karen Sue Wilson

Karen Sue Wilson, 62, of Hughesville, died Friday, Feb. 21, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born Aug. 31, 1957 in San Diego, Calif., she was a daughter of the late Dorothy Marie Myers. Karen and her husband, Raymond L. Wilson, would have celebrated 39 years of marriage on May 16, 2020.

Karen was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and nature.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Emily M. (Matt) Wilson-Hauger, of Davis, W.Va.; two sons, Joshua S. (Maria) Wilson, and Benjamin C. (Caitlin) Wilson, both of Phoenixville; a brother, David Scott (Katie) Myers, of Montoursville; and three granddaughters, Katherine Colleen Wilson-Hauger, Jane Frazer Wilson, and Maeve Campbell Wilson.

The family will be hosting a memorial luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 S. Main St., Hughesville.
