Marjorie Clare (Hughes) Rosenbaum

Marjorie Clare (Hughes) Rosenbaum, 69, of Clinton Township, was reunited with loved ones as she peacefully passed on from mortality into eternal life on Friday, March 20, 2020, at her residence under hospice care.

Born Sept. 29, 1950, in Johnstown, Pa., she was a daughter of Eric C.A. and Wilda R. (Kimmel) Hughes.

Marjorie was a lifelong lover of music and a teacher. She graduated from West Chester State College with a B.S. in music education. She dedicated much of her time to teaching piano, organ and voice. She sang and performed with the Buffalo Valley Singers and Susquehanna Valley Chorale for many years. She also shared her talents by providing accompaniment to many students and choirs.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and its Relief Society organization, known for her services as organist and choir director there.

Marjorie married Paul Z. Rosenbaum on Feb. 17, 1973, in St. George, Utah, for time and all eternity. She is survived by her husband Paul, her mother Wilda Ruth Hughes, her sister Susan K. (Scott) Bowman, and her two sons, Daniel B. (Kimberly) Rosenbaum of Williamsport, and Ryan C. Rosenbaum of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by her father, Eric Colin Anthony Hughes.

Due to recent events with COVID-19 there will be no funeral services held at this time.

Her family will arrange for a memorial service at a later date which will be announced through Facebook.

Her interment will be on Friday, March 27, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
