Josephine A. Wilde
Josephine A. Wilde, 92, a longtime resident of Loyalsock Township, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020, at AristaCare at Loyalsock.
Jo was born in Queens, N.Y., on March 24, 1928, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Kozlik) Havlicek.
A 1946 graduate of Williamsport High School, she had been employed in the clerical department of the former Sylvania. Jo was a longtime member of Christ Episcopal Church. She was also a member of the Episcopal Church Women. A homemaker, she enjoyed playing cards, collecting Hummel figurines and bowled for over 50 years; Jo was a member of the 600 club.
Surviving are a sister, Marie Cummings of Rochester N.Y.; four nieces, four nephews, many great-nieces, great-nephews, and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Her husband of 63 years, John Wilde died April 9, 2016. In addition to her husband, two sisters, Caroline Havlicek and Olga Musheno, and a brother, Ernest Havlicek preceded her in death.
A private graveside service at Twin Hills Memorial Park will be held at the convenience of the family.
