Debra Kay Parr
It is with great sadness that the family of Debra Kay Parr announce her passing Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020.
Born June 8, 1955 in Chambersburg, to Patricia Parr and Leon Stoner. Debbie, as she was called, relocated to Williamsport in the early ’80s where she remained to raise her children, Demond and Deidra, in Loyalsock Township. Debbie worked providing adult day care and home health assistance as her career of choice and was known for her work ethics and compassionate treatment of all with whom she worked. She was well known in her community as a caring mother, grandmother, friend to all and a good neighbor. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and bingo. Distance was never too far for her to travel to visit family and friends.
Preceded in death by her father, Debbie is survived by her Mother Patricia, her son, Demond Parr, and daughter, Deidra Reed, her pride and joy; two grandchildren, Davion and Dason whom she adored; and her siblings, Reginald Parr, Tony Parr, Clarence Parr, Ronald Parr, and Lisa (Mike) Harris.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. at Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home.
