Mark A. Stepanski

Mark A. Stepanski, 65, of Loyalsock Township, passed away on April 30, 2021, at his residence.

He was born on Nov. 15, 1955, in Menasha, Wis., son of the late Frank and Gladys Stepanski.

Mark proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Bitburg, Germany and Luke AFB Ariz. He received a B.S. degree in engineering from the University of Wisconsin and worked at Textron in Stratford, Conn., and Williamsport and for Allied Signal/Honeywell in Phoenix, Ariz.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Peggy A. Friedel; step-son, Brandon Avalos; three grandsons, Michael, Nicholas and Angelo, of Loyalsock Township; granddaughter, Lauren, of Columbia, Md.; sisters, Mary Kohler and Susan Riehl, of Appleton, Wis., Jenny Schillingowski, of Evansville, Ind., Paula Rodriguez, of Jacksonville, Fla. and one brother, Timothy, of West Bend, Wis.

Mark was a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. He loved talking to his grandchildren about school and their involvement in sports activities.

Services will be private and a memorial will be announced at a later date in Wisconsin in July.

Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
