Mrs. Beverly Mae Wert

Mrs. Beverly Mae Wert, 82, a longtime resident of Williamsport, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, At Ephrata Manor Nursing Center, Ephrata, Pa.

Born April 10, 1939, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Virginia Whary Cappelli.

Beverly attended South Williamsport Schools. She was the widow of the late Gerald C. Wert.

Beverly had been employed by the former Reliable Furniture Store of Williamsport. She had been a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge # 145 at Williamsport. She enjoyed watching Penn State Football and was a fan of the South Williamsport Mounties Football. She loved spending time with her family and going to casino gambling venues.

Surviving are her children; Deborah (John) Haynes of Williamsport, Terri Martin of Williamsport, Gary Kiessling of Williamsport, Mark (Lisa) Kiessling of Lititz, Sharon Fetzer of Williamsport, her sister; Mary (Allan) Smith of Harrisburg, her stepdaughter; Geraldine Werni of Ephrata, her stepsons; Michael (Susan) Wert of Lititz, David (Donna) Wert of New Bloomfield, 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her late brother, Alphonso Cappelli, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am., Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 East Central Avenue, South Williamsport, PA.. 17702

Father Michael McCormick, Pastor at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery at Wildwood, Williamsport, Pa.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
