Phyllis E. Shull
Phyllis E. Shull, 85, widow of David L. Shull, passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2021 at the Holy Spirit Hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1936 in New Albany, Pa., a daughter of the late LuVerne and Martha Dike Brown. Surviving are daughters, Roberta (Ray) Sheaffer Jr. of Millerstown and Jill Shull of York Springs; grandchildren, Kyle (Clare), Kevin and Laura Sheaffer; sisters Ruth (George) Werkheiser of Scotrun, Pa. and Nellie Young of Montgomery; several nieces; a nephew; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was a graduate of the former Catawissa High School and had retired from Benatec Associates, Camp Hill in 1997. She was a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church; Perry County Chapter of ABWA; former volunteer at The Manor at Perry Village, New Bloomfield; a former volunteer for Pinnacle Health Hospice, Harrisburg and a member of Millerstown Senior Citizens Center. She loved playing Uno, doing puzzles and going on ice cream dates with her family. She was an avid Penn State fan.
Services will be held Sunday, Oct. 3 from the Millerstown Methodist Church with a visitation from 1 p.m. until the memorial service at 2 p.m. followed by a time of fellowship in the church.
