Glenna A. Edkin

Glenna A. Edkin, 88, of Hillsgrove, died Monday, October 28, 2024, at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville.
Born May 25, 1936, in Forksville, she was a daughter of the late Dudley and Bertha (Morgan) Baumunk.
Glenna was a graduate of the former Loyalsock Joint High School, Estella, and retired in 1996 from the former Bon Ton, Muncy, after having worked there for over 20 years. She was a member of the Hillsgrove Union Church, Hillsgrove Volunteer Fire Department, and formerly of the Hillsgrove Community Club. Glenna enjoyed cake decorating, floral arranging, quilting, crafts, and above all, spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna L. (Lester L. Greevy Jr.) Missigman of Cogan Station, and Diane M. (Dennis) Klem of Hillsgrove; a brother, Charles L. (Ruth) Baumunk Sr. of Forksville; a sister, Virginia A. (Robert) Hatch of Willow Street, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Baumunk of Montoursville; two grandchildren, Brett A. (Richard) Green Naprava of Hazleton, and Donovan J. (Morgan Farrell) Klem of Avoca; a step-great-grandson, Nathan Naprava; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Donald R. Edkin; a brother, Prentice Baumunk; and a sister-in-law, Constance Campbell.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with Pastor Linda J. Renninger officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsgrove Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
