Briana Marie Burley-Inners
Briana Marie Burley-Inners, 27, of South Williamsport, left this world all too soon on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Born June 24, 1997, in Williamsport, she was the cherished daughter of Melissa A. Burley (Richard Heatley) and Craig A. Inners (Yvonne).
A graduate of South Williamsport Area High School in 2015, Briana furthered her education at Lycoming College, where she earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in 2019. Throughout her college years, she was an active and beloved member of Alpha Sigma Tau, Gamma Pi Chapter, forming lifelong friendships.
During her college years, Briana worked as a dietary aide at The Williamsport Home, where she was known for her kindness and dedication. After graduation, she was employed at American Eagle, Bath and Body Works and more recently Target for the last five years.
Those who knew Briana will remember her for her love of hiking and adventures, which often took her to the most breathtaking landscapes where she could indulge in her passion for photography. Music was a constant in her life, providing the soundtrack to her days. Her talents extended to drawing and art. Above all, Briana had a profound love for animals, especially dogs, which was evident in her deep bond with her four legged-son, Bryz, whom she adopted from the Broome County Dog Shelter.
Briana’s life was marked by her loving nature, kindness, and friendly demeanor. She had the rare ability to light up a room with her smile and make everyone feel like they mattered. Her compassionate spirit and creative soul will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her siblings, Brett M. Burley-Inners of Pittsburgh, Kyle J. Burley-Inners of South Williamsport, Dannyelle H. Heatley and nephew, Makai Heatley of North Carolina, and Whyatt R. Heatley of Hughesville; her maternal grandmother, Ann M. Burley; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who will hold Briana’s memory dear.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gary E. Burley, and her paternal grandparents, Rodney and Barbara Inners.
A celebration of Briana’s life will be held on Saturday, November 9 from 2-3 p.m. at the Independent Fire Company 306 Clark St, South Williamsport to honor her memory, share stories and moments that captured the essence of a life lived with love and generosity. The family asks for anyone in attendance to dress casually.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Briana’s name to the Broome County Dog Shelter 110 Cutler Pond Road Binghamton, NY 13905 or to an animal shelter of donor’s choice.
