Tricia J. Williamson

Tricia J. Williamson, 76, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Williamsport North Rehab and Nursing Center.

Born November 4, 1948, in York, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence L. “Bud” and H. Patricia (Aldinger) Holt. Tricia was a graduate of Williamsport Area High School, class of 1966. Shortly after graduation, she met the love of her life, Gary E. Williamson, and together shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Tricia retired from Williamsport Area School District as a bus driver, but her career path also led her to work for a short time at Avco, Shop Vac, and CA Reed. She was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church, and enjoyed gardening and bird watching while playing with her beloved dog, Jack. If Tricia wasn’t outdoors, she was cooking delicious meals for her family and with every moment she had, showering her grandchildren with love. In addition to her family, Tricia had a generous spirit and found joy in cooking for her community. She volunteered meals for the West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association, her church family, and anywhere else the need may arise. As the cake boss of the family, she could make a knock-out icing and would bake for all occasions for family and close friends.

Tricia is survived by her husband, Gary E. Williamson; three sons, Gary M. Williamson, Randy L. Williamson (Kimberly), both of Williamsport, and Matthew S. Williamson (Michele) of Montoursville; four grandchildren who affectionately called her Mimi, Ethan L., Caleb A., Maxton L., and Maslin E.; and a sister, Nancy A. Chapman (David) of Williamsport.

Along with her parents, Tricia was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret A. “Peggy” Beck.

In keeping with Tricia’s wishes, there will be no services.

Memorial donations may be made in Tricia’s name to the Special Olympics of Lycoming County c/o Marc Follmer PO Box 1891 Williamsport, PA 17703., and/or Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
