Lorraine Trevino

Lorraine Trevino, 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on the morning of February 14, 2025, at Country Terrace in Wellsboro. She was born on October 20, 1939, to Martha (Swinsick) and Adam Kaminski, of Blossburg Pennsylvania. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven University and a master’s degree from Mansfield University. A lifelong teacher and educator, Lorrie retired in 1992 after a career at Penn College of Technology, North Campus. Lorrie was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was active in many different church groups over the years. Lorrie enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, playing games and reading. She also enjoyed the occasional trip to a casino and was known for her crocheting.

She is survived by her two children and families, Christian and Audrey Trevino, of Cumming, Ga; and Stephen “Buff” Trevino and Deborah Zollmann, of Bloomsburg, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Raymond Kaminski, of Blossburg; Elaine Gaudin, of Athens, Ga and Elizabeth Grimm, of Frederick, MD.

Friends and family are invited to call from 10 a.m. to noon, at Freeberg Funeral Home, 120 N. Williamson Rd., Blossburg, Pa, on Thursday the 20th. Services will be held at 12 noon with Rev. Bryan Wright officiating from the funeral home. Committal services will follow at St. Mary’s cemetery, and refreshments will be offered at St. Mary’s Hall. Instead of flowers, please consider donating to a cause that mom supported – St. Jude’s or Shriners Hospital.
