Gail V. Ulmer

Gail V. Ulmer, 79, of Jersey Shore, passed away peacefully at the Gatehouse on the morning of Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Gail was born on September 23, 1945, the youngest of three children to Harold and Minnie (Waltz) Ulmer. She was a member of the Jersey Shore High School Class of 1963. She retired from the Susquehanna Health System after 17 years.

To know Gail was to love her. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, like her morning coffee and mowing the lawn. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and found peace in reading, solving puzzles, and afternoon naps with her cats. She spent Sunday mornings at Faith Wesleyan Church and the afternoons watching NASCAR or Hallmark. Gail made the most of her time in this world–traveling to beautiful places and creating memories with those she loved.

Along with her parents, Gail was preceded in death by the love of her life, David W. Bubb; her siblings, Richard Ulmer and Sharon (Ulmer) Brown; and many other loved ones. Surviving are her children, Troy (Karen) Ulmer, Trent (Patricia) Ulmer, and Tammy (Jerry) Harris; four granddaughters, Tiffany, Tierney, Mattea, and Gabrielle; two step-grandchildren, Kaila and Landon; and her Siamese cat, Mia.

A funeral service to honor Gail’s life will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, July 24 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow at State Road Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service, Thursday, at Sanders.
