Amy L. Jones

Amy L. Jones, 66, of Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Edenbrook North.

Born October 8, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Nancy (Thomas) Jones.

Amy was a 1976 graduate of Williamsport Area High School and went on to work for Brodart as well as the Child Evangelism Fellowship as a home missionary. Amy was a member of the former Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed her time teaching Bible stories to the children. She was also a woman who loved a good book, and could often be found lost in the stories of the pages she read.

Above all else, Amy loved her family and spending time with them. Her niece and nephew were the joy of her life.

Amy is survived by two siblings, Jennifer Snyder (Kevin), of Williamsport, and Thomas Jones, of Rhode Island; a niece, Emily Snyder, of Pittsburgh; and a nephew, Nicholas Snyder, of Williamsport.

In addition to her parents, Amy was predeceased by a brother, James Jones.

A funeral service to honor Amy’s life will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, August 21 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service, Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
