Lois Mae Liddick
Lois Mae Liddick, 85, of Williamsport, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Williamsport Home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Floyd S. Liddick with whom she shared 57 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2016.
Born and raised in Williamsport, Lois was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Waltz) Lockcuff and a 1957 graduate of Williamsport High School.
She worked as a Teacher’s Aide for many years within the Williamsport School District.
Lois was a life-long member of Buchanan Baptist Church in where she served as a Sunday School teacher, Youth Group leader, and Missionary Secretary.
She was a Girl Scout leader and a member of the Christians Women’s Club of Williamsport.
Lois truly loved being around people. She enjoyed spending her time cooking and baking, reading, sewing, gardening, and filling her home with fresh flowers. She treasured her family and made each holiday a meaningful and cherished occasion.
Mrs. Liddick is survived by her children, Susan Metzger (Mark) of Linden, Sheryl Shirn (David) of Williamsport, Sylvia Shumbat (Timothy) of Williamsport, Stacia Madigan (Dean) of Towanda, and Floyd Liddick Jr. (Angela) of Carlisle; brother, John Lockcuff (Dixie) of Williamsport; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was proceeded in death by her sister, Alice Clymer.
A funeral service to honor the life of Lois will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, where a visitation will begin at 9:30 am.
Burial to follow at Buchanan Cemetery.
