Big acquisition worth 96 jobs is welcomed news
For an area the size of Milton, an industrial business expansion of 96 jobs is no small deal.
And for the expansion to involve steel manufacturing in a previously vacant building is particularly heartening.
Such is the case in the latest news regarding Custom Container Solutions, which is expanding its operations to a new flagship location in Milton.
Gov. Tom Wolf has announced 96 jobs will be retained and created by the manufacturer of steel containers. The business has purchased the former Crest Homes building in Milton Industrial Park and will expand its operations to this new headquarters and flagship plant.
Custom Container Solutions has committed to investing at least $5.5 million into the project.
That sounds like a commitment from a company to be a big player in the region.
This is good news for Milton and great news in the form of quality industrial jobs in the area.
