Cut state police funding
The state of confusion known as Pennsylvania has a deficit of around $2 billion. I remember reading that the Pennsylvania State Police inhales that much in funding. Stop funding them.
It would make liberals happy since they believe we have too many police already. Conservatives would be happy since it would stop the talk of increasing the state income tax.
The taxpayers would be happy since all of the gas tax revenue would go to the repair of bridges and roads.
In the long term, which all politicians do not comprehend, it would lower our pension costs and if you think about it most are restored longer than they work. Is that right?
