Blame alligators

During the primaries, one of the chants which was heard at many of Donald Trump’s campaign rallies echoing throughout the halls was: “Drain the swamp, drain the swamp!”

When your objective is to drain the swamp, you can be sure that you will expose a lot of the alligators, and swamp creatures. Do not expect the alligators to like being exposed! “Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil.” Jn. 3:19.

It is more than obvious to any honest person, that politicians in Washington had become more corrupt and self serving than ever before! Don’t be mistaken thinking that it is just on one side of the political aisle, nor limited to just Washington! There are a lot of alligators being exposed from both sides, as well as in the media, and anyone else who profits from living as a swamp creature especially special interest groups!

Alligators are very territorial animals, not unlike politicians who will fight and lie and cheat to guard their own part of the swamp!

After eight years of illegal actions taken by the Alligator in Chief, it is time to fundamentally transform America back to its founding principles!!

The whole point of what made America great was indeed the principles of government established by the founding fathers! Three separate branches of government, each designed to play their own part of the whole.

The idea of a small government with laws and rights established for the people, to limit government power, over them, and to increase freedom for the people, not the other way around as it has become! President Trump, wanting to stop the government takeover in the nation’s health insurance industry, has exposed the alligators on both sides! The republicans who don’t want to lose power in the swamp, and the democrats who want more power in the swamp!

Removing unnecessary burdensome regulations gives business more freedom and the government less power over winners and losers, making the people the biggest winner! Not wasting taxpayer’s money on a fools errand trying to control the weather with a swamp water mentality fantasy disguised as science.

Stop blaming the rich as a scapegoat for the country’s uncontrolled spending habits! What happened to people taking responsibility for their own actions? And stop trying to get something for nothing!

As for DACA, headlines and sound bites do not tell the truth! The headlines say: Trump is immoral for ending DACA; what about the morality of the parents that came here illegally?

What about the morality of the illegal actions by Obama; that because he had a pen and a phone; did not feel the need to do what is right in the first place and go through Congress and enact a law from the start?

Trump is the only one doing what is right, by making the Congress do their job to enact a law that solves the problem which they should have done in the first place.

Is he making mistakes along the way? Sure! Like a bull in a China shop. But blame the alligators, not the one draining the swamp!
