About the midterms

Our country’s midterm will be here soon. Historically, whichever party has a majority of seats in Congress at that time will lose some, or all, of that majority.

However, I don’t think that will happen this year. Trump’s approval rating is now 50 percent in some circles.

He has now done many of the things he promised during his campaign, and it appears there may be more to come, but he will need his present congressional majority to accomplish it.

This has not gone unnoticed by our citizens, even though the news media downplays it. Another thing our voters are well aware of is the complete lack of cooperation by the Democratic party in trying to get any legislation done, even things that should be done.

I know several people who are Democrats, and some of them have expressed their frustration with their congressmen who seem to be against everything, no matter what.

One thing is sure, It’s going to be an interesting election.

One more thing – who do the democrats have for their presidential candidate for 2020?
