Climate change vs. normal

According to the dictionary, “normal” is an adjective which is defined as conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected. Synonyms include: standard, ordinary, customary, conventional, habitual, typical, common, regular, routine, established, set, fixed, and traditional.

It was stated recently that there was no definition given as to what is considered normal climate range. A normal climate cycle would be anything which would stay inside of the normal swing of the climate pendulum. It’s a pretty simple concept. Are we outside of a normal climate pattern as it pertains to the climate that has been changing since the beginning of time? Is this within a normal range of climate?

And the writer of the article falls back on a familiar tactic by calling those who are skeptical of man-made climate change “deniers.”

That is completely false. No one is claiming that the climate hasn’t changed. In fact, the knowledge that the climate does change, and has been changing since the beginning of time, is one of the reasons we are skeptical of the theory of man-made climate change.
